Ellie & Honey
I had originally gotten in touch with Sinead for my 5 month old German Shepard puppy Honey. Honey had been excessively mouthing and biting, and had shown some signs of resource guarding that we wanted to get a handle on. Since working with Sinead, Honeys behaviour has massively improved. Not only has it given me a sense of control but Honey couldn’t be happier, it has really strengthened our relationship and we hope to continue working with Sinead to ensure Honeys behaviour stays tip top and we can fulfil her as much as possible. Sinead made me feel so comfortable and really went the extra mile to help me understand not only what we were doing but why. Could not recommend any more she’s fantastic at what she does and has a true love for the dogs.
Becki & Narla
Narla has been training with Sinead for a couple of Year now, at the start she would jump up at you, walking was more of a chore because she would pull on the lead, no recall, very reactive towards other dogs so our walks had to be at times I knew would be quiet, and she didn't know how to switch off and just relax in the house... Narla has gradually progressed over time, but since she has started the Academy, which has recently been introduced, it has been an absolute game changer for us both! She has become less reactive towards other dogs, she has made new friends! Who she now has off lead walks with! Her confidence has noticeably grown, others have pointed that out too, we now enjoy our walks and I can confidently say I can see her being safely off lead for good in just a matter of time, we also get to have fun with a ball now too! She never used to show any interest in playing with me, she was always too busy checking out her surroundings, I was completely irrelevant to her. It has helped our bond to grow much closer. After a walk, she will now take herself to bed for a nap, she doesn't seek constant attention anymore, she is much calmer. Every Week I look forward to hearing how her day at 'school' went, seeing photos / videos and reading her little report. Narla absolutely loves going, soon as she hears a van pulling up, she gets all excited knowing either Sinead or Rachel is coming to collect her for an exciting Day. They are complete naturals with dogs, I think Narla loves them more than me sometimes haha but I'm glad I'm fortunate enough to have found 2 trainers I trust to take my dog for the Day! Unity K9 is the place to go, no matter the issue with your dog, my confidence and anxiety has been helped too, they're always there when you need them, I can't recommend Unity K9 enough - They're truly in it for the dogs!
Jess & Swayze
We were recommended to Sinead by our dog trainer, as we had been struggling with our male malamute after some negative dog experiences, but also battling frustration and lead walking for years. As we aren’t local Sinead has been happy to work with us and our trainer to help guide us through the early work ensuring we are getting the foundations right. The change in my dog after 3 sessions with Sinead is immense! We are just at the very start of our journey and we are already in the best position we have ever been! I can’t express how life changing Sinead has been for not only us but my dog too. The sessions are so informative and real, not sterile environments but also not setting the dogs up to fail. Every small part of the process is explained in so much detail to ensure we understand exactly so that our communication is clear between us and Swayze. But it doesn’t just stop there, Sinead is always at the end of the phone giving advice and feedback when we send over how we are getting on. We set new goals as the weeks go on. The goals are attainable and are set to work around us, she’s our biggest cheerleader too! And celebrates our wins just like we do! She really cares for the dogs and wants to see them thrive. Swayze loves the sessions and Sinead! We can’t thank her enough, we are now not battling with our dog and we are enjoying him and our walks as a team! I can’t wait to see what the rest of this training journey has to come!
Lucy & Boris
If you need to train your dog, this is definitely the place to go. Sinead and the team are great. They definitely know their stuff, have a lot of time, and patience. My dog, Boris, had been attacked by an XL bully, so he was really reactive. I've been going to Unity K9 now for 4 months and Boris is already a different dog, better behaved, and a lot more chilled. I can't thank them enough.

Our dog a Zuchon is only small but has a big attitude. He had behaviour issues due to not socialising like he should have due to covid. He would bark at strangers and some dogs. We tried numerous things but we then came across Unity K9. Sinead has been amazing not only having patience with Harvey but also with ourselves whilst going through the different training aspects. They are so knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. I've sent videos to Sinead to check we are doing everything correctly and always had a response. We've had one to one sessions. Been on a group session and also a home visit. The difference in Harvey is amazing and it's not just us that have noticed the difference. So thank you for not only helping Harvey but us also. It's now a pleasure to go for a walk. We would highly recommend.

I worked with Sinead with two of my rescues. She was fabulous! The boys did an intensive training package with her. She was so knowledgeable and understanding. Helping both me and the dogs. The WhatsApp communications and video exchanges were really useful. I recorded what I was doing and she would provide regular feedback to help us progress even when we weren't due to see her soon. Both boys are much more settled now and have a clearer understanding of what's expected. They are doing so, so well. Other trainers let us down before and fobbed us off. Sinead really made a difference. Can't recommend highly enough

If I could give 10 stars I would! We have an 8 month old puppy who started training with Unity K9 instead of going to normal doggy daycare back in October and the difference already is amazing! He is so much calmer, more engaged with us and our bond has grown stronger as a result of the structure and confidence building steps they’ve helped us put in place. We also had some time away in December so took the opportunity to have him stay with one of the Unity K9 trainers at their residential offering and the results have been astounding - to give some context he was quite a nervous pup (breed tendency) and would be quite reactive to other dogs out on walks as well as people coming into the house, we were also struggling to get him to relax in his crate for longer than 2 hours. The team at Unity K9 have built his confidence so he’s much calmer when we’re out and instilled commands which mean he listens to us and will now relax in his crate for much longer periods without feeling separation anxiety. Overall we’ve still got our wonderful dog who we adore but who is happier, relaxed and engaged with us as his paw rents.

No amount of words can even express how grateful I am for Sinead & UnityK9 and what they have done for me and my dog. My dog is dog aggressive, tries to bite when putting collar or muzzle on, tries to bite when putting hands near neck , the list goes on. They have not only helped me to over come these issues but they have made me a better and confident owner.
